Petroglyphs along Reef Bay Trail St. John US Virgin Islands

The Water Catchment Trail

Caneel Bay Water Catchment

The one mile Water Catchment Trail runs between Centerline Road) and theNorth Shore Road. The trail head at Centerline Road forks right at the beginning of the trail. The left fork leads to the Caneel and Margaret Hill Trail while the right fork runs downhill to the Caneel Bay Water Catchment. This section of the trail is not maintained and can be rugged going at times. Nonetheless the forest environment is beautiful and you can be relatively certain that you will not meet other hikers on this trail. There are three short spur trails along the way that lead back to the Caneel and Margaret Hill Trail.

When you reach the Caneel Bay water catchment there is a well maintained dirt road that will take you down to the Northshore Road a little east of the Caneel Bay resort entrance.
