I have been a marine photographer for years, and have written a book geared to beginning to intermediate snorkelers visiting the St. Thomas/St. John area. It contains more than 200 marine identification photographs, beach descriptions and ratings, various articles and maps.  The book covers are protected by clear plastic protective sheets in order to provide protection against the elements.

There are approximately 140 species of reef fish, coral and marine creatures identified in the book including, Butterflyfishes, Angelfishes, Surgeonfishes, Parrotfishes, Wrasse, Turtles, Rays, Moray Eels, Trunkfishes, Filefishes, Triggerfishes, Filefishes, Grunts, Damselfishes, Squirrelfishes, Silvery Fishes and much more.  All photographs were taken around local area reefs in such places as Sapphire Beach, Secret Harbor, Coki Beach, Trunk Bay, Cinnamon Bay, Waterlemon Cay as well as several off shore locations in the area.  Unlike similar books available, this book concentrates only on the species most likely to be encountered locally, and ignores thoses species deemed Rare or Never Reported in our area.  It is a great introductory marine guide to our beautiful area of the Caribbean.
