Just east of John's Head Road on the north
side of Centerline Road is a short trail leading to the only
bamboo grove that I know about on St. John. Also of note in
this area are beautiful mampoo trees and a large kapok.
The
area is frequented by wild hogs as can be evidenced by the
depressions in the soft soil caused by their rooting.
